Welcome to Alexis I. du Pont Middle School!

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year at Alexis I. du Pont Middle School! Our dedicated staff has been working hard to prepare for an engaging, supportive, and inspiring year for our students. Together, we will continue to build on our strong traditions while embracing new opportunities for growth and success.

This year, we are proud to align with the district’s theme: “Remarkable Red Clay” while embracing our school’s vision to “Aim Higher.” At AIMS, we challenge every student to reach their fullest potential through persistence, innovation, responsibility, diversity, and excellence. Our goal is to ensure that each child feels safe, supported, and inspired to thrive academically and socially.

As we begin this new year, I encourage all families to stay connected and engaged. We have several exciting events coming up where you can meet our staff, learn more about our programs, and celebrate our school community:

• 🎉 Red Clay Block Party – Saturday, September 6
  Join families across the district for a day of fun, music, and community spirit.
• 📚 Parent Night – Thursday, September 11
  A chance to hear about our school goals, family supports, and how you can partner with us this year.
• 👩‍🏫 Meet the Teacher Night – Monday, September 29
  Come visit classrooms, meet your child’s teachers, and learn more about their daily experience at AIMS.
